DR. LISA MOSCONI

Dr. Mosconi leads the Women’s Brain Initiative at Weill Cornell Medicine, where she also serves as Associate Director of the Alzheimer's Prevention Clinic. For as long as she can remember, she wanted to be a brain scientist -- and as she witnessed her grandmother and her two sisters spiral into dementia, her motivation grew stronger. Dr. Mosconi now dedicates her entire career to studying brain health, and how it plays out differently in women than in men.

Dr. Mosconi has condensed her findings into this book.

A world-renowned neuroscientist, Dr. Mosconi’s NIH-funded research is focused on the early detection of Alzheimer’s disease in at-risk individuals, especially women.

THE XX BRAIN is a rally cry for women to have full access to information regarding their brains and bodies, and a roadmap for the path to optimal, lifelong brain health.
